2010 Report Enhancements
For
years, the goal of MedCost’s reporting has been to give
our clients actionable information regarding their employee populations—news
you can use to make decisions regarding your Plan or your health
and wellness initiatives.
Due
to system enhancements put in place in October 2009, MedCost’s
Case Management program now gathers important case information
more efficiently. And, we’re happy to share that efficiency
with our clients through improved reporting capabilities.
Our
Case Management report has a new look, with an easier-to-read
format so you can quickly locate the information you need. We
are now able to capture information on Actual Savings Interventions
and Avoided Cost Interventions to provide more detailed descriptions
of the activities our case managers perform on the member’s
behalf. These two features may appear on your reports, depending
on the number and complexity of Case Management cases during
the reporting period. In addition, you can now see member demographics
and a breakdown of your health plan’s primary conditions
by category, with further drill down regarding oncology and transplant
cases.
We
